MOUNTAINEER RUMBLE 10 MI, 50K, 100K & 100 MI RACE AT KINGS MONTAIN STATE PARK
Welcome to the Mountaineer Rumble 10 Mile, 50K, 100K, and 100 Miler Race at Kings Mountain State Park, Clover, SC During the event you’ll run a 31.1 mile (50K) loop that will highlight the CCC Multi-Use Trail (Orange Blaze), the National Recreational Trail (Blue Blaze), the Poplar Point Trail (White Blaze), and portions of Piedmont and Apple Roads. Runners will have beautiful views of creeks, rolling hills, Civilian Conservation Camp remnants, hardwoods, and pines. Each loop is 2500 +/- feet of elevation gain. 50K runners will complete one loop, 100K runners will complete two loops, and 100 mile runners will complete three loops plus a 6.7 mile smaller loop. Each loop will have five fully-stocked aid stations with one water-only station that you’ll pass twice. Time limits are 10 hours (50K), 20 hours (100K), and 32 hours (100 Mile). Runners will all receive a finisher’s awards. 50K and 100K will receive similar awards noting their distance. 100 Mile finishers will receive a custom designed buckle for their accomplishment.

CHRISTMAS ON THE FARM TRADE SHOW AT KINGS MOUNTAIN STATE PARK
Come join us at the Living History Farm for a fun holiday event! Get your photo taken with Santa in the Homeplace, enjoy hot chocolate and roast s’mores by the fire. Continue your Christmas shopping from the merchants and craftsmen selling their handcrafted products at the Holiday Market around the Farm. Bring the family out to kick off the Holiday season right at Kings Mountain State Park from 10am-2pm on December 13th, 2025.

FIRST DAY HIKE– RIDGELINE TRAIL FROM KINGS MOUNTAIN TO CROWDERS MOUNTAIN
Happy New Year! Let’s start your New Year’s resolution out on the right foot and hit a state park trail. Join us for a ranger-led hike from CCC Bathhouse Trail-head of Kings Mountain State Park to the Boulders Access Area of Crowders Mountain State Park. This will be a moderate 5.6 mile hike. The recommended age is 10+. Be sure to bring water, binoculars, insect repellent, hiking shoes, and a camera if you desire. Make sure to dress for the weather! Shuttle service will be provided between parks. We will cancel the hike in the event of rain or other inclement weather. Call the park office at (803)222-3209 before you leave if the weather is questionable.

Meeting Place: CCC Bathhouse Trailhead on Lake Crawford at Kings Mountain State Park. A shuttle will be provided to drive you back to Crowders Mountain.
What to Bring: Water, a snack and comfortable walking/hiking shoes, and hiking poles. Sturdy-soled shoes are recommended as the trail is not paved and rocky in areas.
