Hiking Trails
The park offers several scenic hiking trails suited for various skill levels:
- Kings Mountain Hiking Trail – A challenging 16-mile loop that takes hikers through diverse terrain and natural beauty.
- Farm Trail – A short and easy 1.5-mile trail, ideal for families or those seeking a leisurely walk.
- Ridgeline Trail – Spanning 1.8 miles, this unique trail connects three parks across two states: Kings Mountain State Park, Kings Mountain National Military Park (South Carolina), and Crowders Mountain State Park (North Carolina). It offers hikers a rare opportunity to experience the landscapes of multiple protected areas in one hike.
- Walking/Nature Trails: The .7-mile Nature Trail at the park provides a leisurely walk.









HIKING PARKING
Hikers can park at Lake Crawford or use the Equine Parking Lot, which includes a designated area specifically for hikers. Please do not park in the horse trailer section, as it is reserved for equestrian use.
