Planning to spend the weekend? Reserve one of Kings Mountain State Park’s equestrian campsites and make the Ride & Raffle part of your camping adventure. Campsites can be reserved through the South Carolina State Parks reservation system.

Support Kings Mountain State Park year-round by joining the Friends of Kings Mountain State Park. Memberships will be available during the event.

The Friends of Kings Mountain State Park (FKMSP) proudly invites you to our annual Ride & Raffle, a family-friendly fundraising event featuring horseback riding, delicious BBQ, exciting raffle prizes, Friends merchandise, and fellowship.
The Friends of Kings Mountain State Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to support Kings Mountain State Park through fundraising, volunteer service, conservation, educational programming, trail improvements, and park enhancement projects.
Every dollar raised through this event remains with the Friends organization and directly benefits Kings Mountain State Park.
Whether you’re coming for the ride, the raffle, the food, or simply to support the park, we look forward to spending the day with you!
🐴 Ride the Trails
Kings Mountain State Park features miles of beautiful equestrian trails winding through hardwood forests, creek crossings, and scenic countryside.
Bring your horse and enjoy the trails at your own pace.
There are no scheduled ride times.
Ride for an hour or spend the entire day exploring everything the park has to offer.

The raffle is sponsored and conducted by the Friends of Kings Mountain State Park, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Eligibility
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to purchase raffle tickets or claim prizes.
Ticket Sales
- 1 Ticket — $10
- 3 Tickets — $25
All ticket sales are final.
No refunds.
Lost or damaged tickets cannot be replaced.

The raffle drawing will take place:

Winning tickets will be selected at random.

You do not have to be present to win.
Winner Notification
Winners not present at the drawing will be contacted using the information provided when purchasing tickets.
Prize Claim
Prizes should be claimed within 30 days unless other arrangements have been approved.
Prize Substitution
The Friends of Kings Mountain State Park reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should a listed prize become unavailable.
No Cash Value
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
Taxes
Any taxes associated with prizes are the responsibility of the winner.
Odds of Winning
Odds depend upon the total number of tickets sold.
Use of Proceeds
Net proceeds benefit the Friends of Kings Mountain State Park, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and directly support Kings Mountain State Park through trail improvements, conservation efforts, educational programming, volunteer initiatives, equipment purchases, and park enhancement projects.
Tax Information
Raffle ticket purchases are not tax-deductible charitable contributions because they are made in exchange for a chance to win a prize.
